Age restrictions for Children Attending Performances at Shinfield Players Theatre

Some productions have specific age recommendations for the show which are set by the license holders, particularly if the show features adult themes, or contains language or references that may not be suitable for children. Some productions have an age recommendation but add parental guidance.

If there is a restriction for age, this will be included in any publicity for the production including on Ticketsource.

All young people aged 16 or under must be accompanied by and sit with a responsible adult.

Normally we do not advise bringing children below 3 to a production, although, if the child is able to sit for the duration of the show, there may be some exceptions for productions such as such as pantomime, or a show staged specifically for young children.

Children aged 3 and under can sit on a parent’s lap. All children over 3 should have their own seat. We do have booster seats and cushions available for small children.
